I have just discovered that Atari800WinPlus 3.0 has been released and supports Basic XE. I'm thrilled! I've been waiting so long to see my old BXE games run again!
So I set the cartridge as basxe41.bin and start the emulator. I get the "Basic XE ready" prompt, but get an "Error 33" when trying to run my application. I look at the Basic XE manual (ah, sweet memories :) and see that it requires "BASICXE.OSS" ah yes! True!
So I create an .ATR with that file. When trying to load, I see "Loading extension - Basic XE 4.11" and then "Error during load, hit reset to reboot".
Why? :( Is it because my "BASICXE.OSS" is not compatible with my "BASXE41.BIN"?
