When I was a young child, (I am 18 now) I can remember playing the greatest console in the world, Atari ST 1040. My father had actually aumented a 520 to run at 1040, but it worked great. He had all of our games neatly alphabetized in a big box (we had hundreds). Well enough of the garbage. The real reason for this post is to find out the name of a great game. I can merely describe what I remember from over 10 years ago.

The basic premise is that you are a window washer/janitor for some corporation. I remember stumbling on some machine that causes you to travel through time. you go back to the middle ages, and go through some monastery, and other things. You meet some people that are real time travellers. You go into the future, and essentially save the day or something.

I really cant remember the title, and unfortunately all my games bit the big one, so I can't test them to see which it is. Please help a fellow gamer and classic lover.
thanks
