Any fans of the VLM should take note: the VLM-2 is OUT and it is absolutely amazing. You will lose your mind when you see it.

While not an Atari product, the VLM-2 can be found in the Samsung DVDN2000 "Extiva" DVD player. This unit runs about $349, and can be found online for around $300.

Jeff Minter coded it (it was formerly known as Project X) and it is now a standard feature of rhe NUON chipset, developed by VM Labs. The VLM-2 will also be included in a new DVD player from Toshiba (SD2300).
