Hi all!
I'm looking to buy a TOS ROM(s) so I can legally use an emulator. I mainly want to collect those cool demos so I'm thinking that I need TOS 1.02, right? But where can I buy one at a reasonable price?
I checked some of the vendor links and none of them sell TOS 1.02. Which other versions would be okay to run most demos?
Also, I've been looking on eBay Canada and so far there are two STs for sale but unfortunately none of the disk drives work so there is no way to tell which TOS version they have. (And even then, it's unlikely the seller is going to bother, or even know how, to install a program to check the version.) Can anybody look at these and give me an idea which version would likely be in them?

I'm beginning to think that downloading the 1.02 ROM, even though illegal, is the only way to go about it so far, but I'd like to own the real thing. Though I wonder if I'll be doing ST users a disservice by buying a computer or TOS ROM just to have it sitting on my shelf. It seems like a waste. I wish there was a legal way to get the ROMs with something like the Amiga Forever package.
