I was wondering ( Like I do ), what others out there have added to their Atari machines that have made a big impact on their boxes, and the way they use them.
For example, early on, the best thing I did to my ST was to get a Mono Screen, and Magic v2... They turned the whole way I used my ST from a game/Music Machine to a real machine. Ok, so I lost the use of gaming, but the difference in apps use was so big, that i didnt care!
Another big hitter with me was getting a QWERTYX from chris crosskey ( Its one of Marios projects )... I still have that thing, its now on the TT and I am using a cordless keyboard & Mouse with it...
This was funny to get working because the QWERTYX does not like many things I have tried with it ( esp. the mice ) but this thing went on via a USB -> PS/2 and then a PS/2 -> Serial ( on both Key & MSE )
Looks great, although I cant use the wheels!
Software wise, its got to be the Jinnee / Magic 6 combo... Nothign touches them.
Hell, I am going way off track here...
What do you lot use, be it from a big thing like a Desktop, all the way down to one of those silly little AUTO Folder programs that well, just make it a bit better to use!
What is it, tell me, I want to know.
