Ok, I am trying to drive an Infra Red Pinnacle remote control on my megaSTE
through a serial port. Don't ask me why, I am just wondering...
The IR receiver is so plug in one of the 3 available RS232 ports. It is
supposed to transmit the number of the remote control button that have been
pressed. The problem is that nothing is received by my serial port.
In the original PC program, nothing seems to be sended to te IR receiver in
order to initialise it. Is there a difference between PC serial port an ATARI
serial port ? Have someone a clue ?

I've already tried Bconstat, Bconin, Rsconf, Cauxin, fopen (with "AUX"
parameter) functions, but none of them seems to fit. The problem remain the same.

The receiver is supposed to be 1200 bauds, 8 bit per char, 1 bit stop,
RTS/CTS controled, no parity checked. That is what cames out from the original
PC program. I tried some other configurations as well.

I tried modem1 port and serial2/Lan port (devices number 6 and 8).
When I "hot UNplug" the serial IR receiver, I do receive an unexpected and
non-significant character, meaning at least I am listening to the right port.

Any idea ?
