I used to have Atari 130XE once, a long
long time ago.
Last Saturday I went to a computer scrap
place with my 12 y.o. son, looking for
some parts to fix a power supply.
My son found Atari 1040STf down on the floor
somewhere and we, of course, ended up
buying it for $5.
I've fixed the reset switch as it was broken
and permanently short, not allowing the processor to recycle and start, washed it
and it seems to start up fine now, though
I can only tell by listening to the audio.
I've been looking all over internet for
a pinout of the 13 pin DIN connector,
so I could come up with some kind of
interface for a monitor. I was also looking
for a manual (in a form of a pdf file or so)
hoping that someone had put it out there somewhere.
Would any of you have any idea where to look
for the stuff for 1040ST?
Any help will be greately appreciated.
It'd be a lot of fun to get it up and runing
after some 20 years since I last saw it :)
Thanks,
Jarek
