Greetings everyone,
I'm just trying to gauge some interest here, to see if the idea is plausible or not...

I may be able to buy some Composite audio/video to VGA converters in bulk. They perform scan doubling, and would therefore allow you to use a SVGA CRT or LCD with an ST.

I can get them for around 25GBP (36Euros, 40US Dollars) each, not including postage. I'd be selling them on at the price I paid for them, no profit :-) Or should I put an extra $1 or $2 on top, and donate some profits to a coding comp or Myatari.net or something? Not sure...

Anyway, I don't want to go and spend my money on these things and not be able to get rid of them, so I'm asking people to show their interest! If anyone knows of cheaper options, that would be something I'd like to know about too ;-)

I'm in Australia, so to reduce postage for buyers, I'd also be looking for contacts in UK, Europe, and US who could distribute them locally. I'm not sure what to do about taxes and import/export rules, I think I'll just try to ignore it and hope we get away with it, eh? haha

I may also consider making up cables that plug into the monitor port and output composite audio/video. Or distributing instructions to put a composite video port in an ST. For now though, I'm just trying to gauge some general interest. If things look promising, I'll set up a website, paypal account etc and take it from there!

Thanks,
Tom
