Alright,
You guys have me convinced that this new Falcon came out of the box with either a nearly dead NVRAM batter or a faulty capacitor in the Power supply.
It has to be one of those things since I can get it started half the time by playing arround with differnt monitors, and when it does decide to boot, it works perfectly!
I just don’t want to deal with it, like I said, I have waaayyy to many other projects to work on. Maybe one of you hard-core Atari boys would like to have it serviced.
So, who wants the NEW Falcon030 with a free 2GB 2.5" IDE HDD, new Falcon030 HDD mounting kit, math coprocessor, and VGA adaptor for a grand total of $300 plus shipping?
I think is a steal considering it’s THE LAST new Falcon. (Still smells new too.) :)
Consider all the new extras as compensation for having to have it shipped to Wizztronics in N.Y. for minor repair.
