hi folks,
i have come to a difficult decision, and that is to sell my falcon and some of my atari kit that goes with it.
this is the machine some of you have heard about before
it is a original falcon030 16mhz machine with 16mb ram (72pin simm adapter board installed), this includes a external scsi chasis with 2Gb scsi disk and internal 720mb 2.5" ide.
the machine also has it's original brown atari box with multitos manuals/disks etc
the machine boots up and is stable, there is one problem with it, whilest attempting to overclock the dsp chip i dropped solder over the dsp chip address pins, after sending the machine off for someone to remove the solder they made it worse, the dsp is damaged and no dsp functions work. i am 99% sure that the chip can be replaced.
1x fpu (possibly) included (i need to find it)
and 14" compaq vga monitor available aswell
I am reluctant to sell on ebay as i want whoever gets it to have a shot at fixing it and using it :-)
offers via email bredroll@atari.org please?
i may consider a swap with a tt?
thanks
bredroll
