I bought a very basic TT last summer. I am slowly sorting it out and upgrading it. Recently I got hold of a Nova graphics card on ebay and I am trying to install it. I do not have any manual or installation instructions. I do have a Nova installation disc (version 2.61). All the text files on the disc are in German I have done a very rough translation using translation software and read them. They do not really refer to installing the hardware card into the TT. Can anyone point me to some information on the net about installing the card? Does anyone have the instructions or manual, preferably in English? I have searched the internet but not really found anything so far.
Here are some specific questions: I have fitted the card in the VME slot in the TT case. I am assuming that it should go in with the components on the card facing upwards. Is that correct? Is there a jumper switch on the TT mainboard that needs to be turned on so that the TT will recognize and use the card? If so which switch is it and how should it be switched (on or off)? I am assuming the card takes any power needed from the VME connection - correct? Will the card work with most VGA & SVGA monitors?
