Hello there,

Hope this is not too OT

am building a PC with a small Mini ITX motherboard which I have just realised when it arrived has no floppy drive controller.
Apart from using USB external one,

was wondering if I use a LS120 floppy drive could be used (which runs off IDE) to read disks off my other PCs and STs? Yes I know LS120s are not made any more but seem cheap to buy used or new-old-stock (for the drives at least, not really interested in the special 120mb disks)

Id appreciate if anybody could tell me any experience in using these drives on a PC and using ST disks and anything a little non standard.

Dont like Zip drives, heard scary things about the mechanical parts failing on them, and the weird blue case looks like its designed by Fisher Price ;o)
