I have a couple of 1040STf's.

I opened them up so I could take the RAM from one and add to the other, but I was not sure wich chips were the RAM.

I would also like to add a HDD, but I cannot find one, so I did a little research and found out you could add an IDE HDD with a little hacking . . .

Does anyone out there know where to find instuctions on how to do this stuff (for idiots/beginers).

Also, I would like to find out how to use a VGA? Multisync? monitor. I have the Atari b/w and color monitors with a switchbox, but would like to use a single display. I understand that with the right multisync it will handle ALL the 1040's video modes in color or b/w.

Thanks
Tommy
