Question, we all know that we can hook up an ST/STE to a VGA monitor with a special cable like the one from BEST. The High-REZ MONO mode works great, but the color mode only works if you have a VERY old 15Khz VGA monitor. (which sucks)
Did anyone ever come up with a video modification to the ST/STE video circuit that would 2X the Horizontal scan rate of the color mode allowing the ST to be connected directly to modern VGA monitors?
