I have a Atari Megafile 44. This a 44mb Syquest drive(removeable). It works great. Theres a second SCSI connector inside the Megafile 44 on the Atari SCSI adapter. This adapter is NOT like the megafile 20, 30, or 60. Ive tried to add a second drive but, I can not get the adapter to recognize the hard drive. Ive tried 3 different drives that all work great in my TT. Ive tried the DIP switches on the Megafile 44 in every position thinkable. I know that the 1st switch turns on the second connector the second and third switch set the ID for the drive. Ive tried terminating both the on at the end, the one at the beginning and neither. I can always see the syquest but not the other drive. Has anyone ever installed a second drive into the megafile 44?
