I just bought a Fujitsu MHV2080AT 80GB 2.5 inch 9.5mm IDE HDD for my PC laptop and thought it would be interesting to see if it will work in the Falcon.

I have installed the drive and it is recognised as a Fujitsu direct access device on IDE 0.0 using HD Driver 8.16.

Despite my best efforts I have been unable to get the device to be actively selectable in the Harddisk menu for performing, format, partition or sector test. Hence, I have not been able to partition it.

Will this just not work or have I forgotten (not been aware) of some issue with these new large drives.
