I am a blody nusiance I know I am...
Anyway, on the TT I was able to use my MODEM-MIDI single port device through a 9-pin to 25-Pin adapter, and it was fine, using the MODEM1 Port. ( Or whatever port it is? )
I risked an Ebay purchase and bought a 3 port one too, and guess what? That also works! - All 3 ports too, which is cool.
Now that I am moving to the falcon, I have been going through my problems ( Downloading a fresh copy of CAF sorted the stop-issues by the way for those who care . Dont know what the cause was, dont care anymore now that its sorted. )
Anyway, the Falcon simply will not use either the single Midi Port one, or the Multi-port one.
The Multiport one is the EXPORT.
I am tryign to use it in CuBase Audio.
I am using MROS 3.34 and I have gone through a load of different Drivers, and they are perfect on the ST and TT but not the Falcon?
Is there any thing I need to do to get them to work on the Falcon?
I do have an 8-port Parallel port thingy... Hang on... Thats a Friend-Chip thingy, however, its got a parallel port pass-thru... Erm, port, and the switch is PRT/Remote/Midi but, the device is broken and it seems to be permanently stuck as parallel even when I try the Remote software, it crashes the Falcon as soon as I try to send any data to it, so thats a bit risky it seems according to the docs anyway, so thats not an option right now.
Can anyone offer me anything to go on?
Cheers very much.
