Ok, I haven't looked into this much yet but I'm beginning to consider the idea of somehow linking my new Falcon030 to my PC for easy and convenient file transfer. With my Amiga1200 this is VERY easy thanks to its PCMCIA interface and the cheap/readily available PCMCIA Ethernet cards. I have linked my Amiga to my router and file transfer is simple and fast using AmiSamba and I'd really like a similar solution for my Falcon. Unfortunately, things don't look so promising for doing this with my Falcon: none standard serial ports, expensive hard to find Ethernet adaptors...*shudder*
Basically I'd like some idea on how you Atari guys are linking your Falcons to your PCs, what is the best solution? What equipment do I need, what hardware works well, where is it available, etc. Or are you all just using floppies to transfer files? Maybe someone has a good forum link on this subject too??
any tips, ideas?
