Hi!
I'm a brand new Atari user, since a friend of mine lent me a 1040 STf with Cubase for playing.
I was getting really keen on it, so I got also the PowerSt emulator for my iMac and I started to download free-shareware stuff.
Now, I've a problem: most of the programs I downloaded aren't .ST disk images, but simply consist in various files (.pgr and so on). Emulators, as you know, all need disk images to work; I tried to create disk images with DuST on my iMac and with MakeDisk on a PC, but these utitlity seems able only to make a disk image from an Atari real disk, and vice versa, or to create blank disk images, in which I'm not able to store the files I downloaded.
So I can't run applications with emulators on the iMac, and neither copy files on disks fur using them with my real ST.
Maybe the solution is very simple, but, well, I'm quite a novice, and I'm getting really bogged down...
If someone knows what to do, please let me know!
Respect to all
Riccardo
