I recently bought a 1040st and I really want to use it for sequencing. the fact that it has a built in midi time clock was enough for me to go atari. (and i dont like pcs)
however...I have been trying to find a way to get a program. Obviosly no commercial store stocks atari anything, and when i ask it is usually replied with- "atari really? are you from another planet here let me show you this gateway"

anyway, I cant seem to get what i need. I was told that there are web sites to download stuff, but my atari is not online and as you know pc/mac formatted discs arent compatible. What can I do, is there anyplace to purchase anything.

If anyone knows anything please help me out, as I am really frustrated. its been almost 4 months and i am still empty handed.

I heard that q-base is available? how about logic? does anyone use something else with good results, I am very open minded.
I have an akai sampler and a nord lead 2 synth. I plan on making techno/house/drum&bass,etc.

any help will be much appreciated...thank you fellow atari heads.
