Some facts from the interview with F.Aschwanden in the STC magazine December 2000 :
The Coldfire based Atari clone (project name Pegasus) will be built if there are 200 definite preorders. And enough support from programmers.
About the machine :
Can be released in April 2001 (if everything goes as planned)(P.S. The Hades and Medusa were conceived and built in 6 months)
Will have AGP 2.0/ PCI 2.0/USB 2.0
RAGE-PRO PCI (driver already available) Other cards possible
TOS 3.06. Later Magic and Linux are planned
180 MHz Coldfire
Flash Eprom
Standard Atari Midi Ports
Existing cards and Adapters can be used for sound.
Will be completely programmable
Speed : 3x faster than the Hades 060
Price : approx. between DM 1500 and DM 2000 incl keyboard, mouse,grafics and RAM.
