I dragged an old 520STFM out of the cupboard wondering if I could upgrade to a meg. Bog standard 512k machine with TOS 1.4, REV F board (memory under the power supply)
The soldered in dram chips are 41256 -15 chips, I have a ram expansion board I have pulled out of an old PC with 41256 -12 chips, will these be ok??
I have just soldered in 16 dram sockets, there some capacitors that are supposed to go next to sockets, does anyone what type these need to be, a Maplins order good would be if any knows. :o)

upgrading STFM new
