I want to playback samples from software i'm currently working on(in response to MIDI) via DMA on the falcon
but need to do it as efficiently as possible.
I figure STE code will be written to a higher
level of efficiency (given the slower processor)
than falcon DMA code.
i've searched the net and found no sourcecode for this.
but, i know its out there! (i had 50khz tracker code a few years ago but lost it)
the key questions i need answered are:
-what is the fastest way to "volumize" a sample.
-what are some quick ways to sum the samples and write
to the DMA buffer.
