Hi All,
I have a 1040STfm wich works just great. I spend most of my free time playing with it. But one of my dreams is to have one of those mega-Atari-machines such as TT, Milan, Hades... at least a Falcon. In my country (Argentina) to have one of those machines is practically impossible.
So I wanted to start a proyect of making my own Atari-compatible machine using PC hardware and a good emulator. Pacifist is old, Tosbox doesn't run MagiC... all the other ones are for Windows and I wanted the emulator to be loaded automatically when the computer was turned on. So I came to the conclusion that my idea was impossible too.
Some weeks ago I started to think on buying a Mac (I have to decide between an iMac and a G4) and surfin arround the Net I found MagiC Mac.As far as I can see, MagiC Mac users says that the system runs faster than a Milan or even a Hades. Now tell me: is that true? Have I found the solution for my problem? If I can use it to get connected, work with Papyrus and make some graphic designs... it's the perfect solution isn't it?
I've been playin arround with MagiC PC... but I don't like to have the whole system under a Windows 98 Window... Is the same on the Mac? A fullscreen option would be great.. so the OS can be loaded automatically after Mac OS..
I would like to hear some comments from MagiC Mac users... Thanks for all!!!
Facundo
pd: All the MagiC Mac screenshots I've seen are in German... Is there any English version?
