Does anyone do reasonable repairs on Atari monitors? Preferably on the south coast of the UK??
I have two SM124s I've picked up (one rescued from the dustman) which work but one occasionally flickery and the other does wavy edges.
Best Electronics catalogue mentions there is one capacitor that wears out often on SM124, I have replaced them on both but they are still the same. I think this is a problem with one of the of capacitors .
I am not very techy minded on monitors, but might be fix something if someone tells me what to do. I cant see any obviously dodgy solder joints.
SM124 monitors need fixing. new
