I've recently bought an Atari MEGA ST2. I have also asked around about upgrading this unit. However, the advice I've been given seems to assume that my MEGA unit has 'slots' to fit SIMMS into etc. I have opened the unit up, had a good nose around and I have a few questions.
Firstly, I don't have a manual or circuit diagram for this unit, can anyone help. I suspect (re internals) that the unit is very similar to a 1040ST, so perhaps no manual is required, but a circuit diagram might be useful.
Can anyone tell me about the following positions on the motherboard.

Hi / Lo 1 & 2. These are the only 'spare' positions on the board for obvious expansion.
SIMMS need to be soldered directly to the motherboard, underneath the floppy drive.
A larger HDD seems to be on its way to me from a very generous participant in these forums (Thanks Fat Rakoon / Damion)
Can anyone assist?
