Ok, first off.
Of all the EMails I have sent out to various companies, regarding the use of "No Longer Supported Software" I have received only one so far...
Its From HiSoft Themselves, and this is what I have had:-
------------------------
I understand your needs but all our Atari software remains the copyright of
the authors (in most cases, HiSOFT) and the software cannot be distributed
in any way whatsoever.
If this position should change we will make the appropriate announcement on
our website.
Many thanks.

This means, that a good chunk of some quality stuff that was actually given away free with ST CoverDisks, are still under Copyright, and yes, ok, but its a shame none the less.
Right, the next bit.
I am having some really good help from Ali in compiling the Software list, but this is where we are at...
The Directory lists are so far up to 23MB in standard ACSII Text Files!!
Yes, thats right!
This is just the Directory, and NOT the files themselves!!! - EEKK!!
However, the situation still exists in how I am going about it. The Archive lists on the site, are slowly being opened, and worked through to get each small archive out, and sorted.
I have also put aside, the AMD 400 just for the Atari Archives, and I have given it a 30GB Drive, so that should be adequate for the more usefull software I think?
Its coming on - better than you'd think, but slower than you'd want!
Right, and now the final bit...
Great one Parris, let us know whats what, and when.
