I am getting (and always have actually) a lot of noise on the sound outputs of the STE. Especially when the drive is accessing, its like i hear every bit transfered from the floppy!

Now, I want to eliminate this distastefull problem. I can not find a modification on any of the Atari hardware sites. Therefore, I will trace the connection to the Filter/Amplification chip, install some Ferrite beads (RF chokes) and run that right into my mixer.

Do you have any experience with this? If you know how I can better eliminate this noise please tell.
