I'm hoping someone here can help me with a problem I'm having making my MegaST2 see a CD-ROM drive.

I'm using a Link2 SCSI adapter with a Quantum external hard drive (ID 0) and a Plextor 4x external CD-ROM drive (ID 1). The hard drive is hooked up first, and the CD-ROM drive second. The CD-ROM drive has a terminator on the second Centronics port.

If I use the Link2 software to show me all SCSI ID's in use, it registers ID0 as the Quantum and ID1 as the Plextor, so I believe everything is getting through. The problem is actually using the drive.

I installed MetaDOS 2.7 and finally got the thing configured so that on boot up, the ICD software first gets the hard drive going (drives C, D, and E) and then the MetaDOS drivers load, telling me I have audio on drive Y: (which I don't really need) and then drive Y: is assigned to ISO9660 as drive K: (which I chose because I don't think my ST can see past drive R:)...

So I think things are set up as far as that goes, but how do I get to the drive from the desktop? I tried installing a K: drive, but when I tried to open up a few CD's of public domain archived software (Suzy B collection and Atari Compendium), it showed up as blank...

Any one know how I can see the drive in TOS 1.2 now that it's supposedly "installed?"
