Aaah! I just bought a 1040 STf a few days ago. Thanks for all help so far! But now: I have formatted quite a few DD Disks so far. Worked fine. But now its always jerking up two or three steps before being done. What is this? Is the internal disk drive possibly dejusted in some way? Can I adjust it? How?

I one tried formatting a HD-Disk. The drive didnt recognize it. But since then it behaves freaky to the once beloved DD-Disks. But only when trying to format. Reading is ok. I Think.

Thanks in advance!
Alex
