Hey folks,
Does anybody have a dead TT they'd be willing to part with the case from? I love my TT, but it's in a silly-huge tower case that's just a little big to carry with me to my new flat (when I get one). It's really hard to use my SLM605 with it as well, the SLMC box has to attach to the ACSI port, which is the one that wasn't duplicated by the engineer that rehoused her! The cable just reaches to the mobo if I mount the SLMC in a 5.25" bay (it fits quite nicely in fact) but I have to leave the side of the chassis off to run the raster cable to the SLM.
We could even do a swap, the card template is in there, the case has been modded to take a TT, the reset button's wired up and everything, even the internal speaker was attached to the TT's sound output (but it annoyed me so I disconnected it for now)
It's a great looking machine, I just wanted something a little more manageable than I got...and the original Atari case is more important to me as a collector (who actually makes use of the collection!!)
