I was just wondering if fellow Atari lovers are interested in the new Amiga that is going to be be released this year?
Amiga Inc. is claiming their machine will be a big hit and be just as innovative as the initial A1000 from 1985!! (4096 colors on screen at once/stereo audio/multi-tasking)
I loved the days when Atari ruled together with the cleary supirior Amiga (snif) and we could benefit from excellent Amiga ports.
After the demise of Commodore I thought the Amiga Would die a silent death. But instead a very strong community was formed. (There is nothing like Aminet or Amiga Web Directory (www.cucug.org/amiga.html) for any other computer) Even now after more than 6 Years of no mayor improvements it has the most loyal consumer base.
I am happy that at least Amiga is given a change to get back in the mainstream market and I am surely going to support it. (I hate using Windows 9x/NT)
