hey, i'm a relatively new falcon user and
i'm having a couple of problems with a couple
different pieces of software. if anyone can
offer any advice on any of these issues it
would be appreciated. =]
1) Musicmon 2.0
this is probably the most straightforward
problem. whenever i try to run it i get an
error that says it needs a lower resolution,
i've tried all resolutions and color-depths
and get the same error no matter what. then
i found that it seems its because it won't
run under multitos ... but holding the left
shift down during startup doesn't seem to
lead me to the "load multitos (y)es (n)o"
prompt like it should ... any ideas?
2) Sid Sound Designer 3.5p
this problem is a little stranger. when
i try to run ssd, either one of two things
will happen ... either it will appear to
begin loading (filename appears at top of
screen) and then just freeze, or it will
seem that video has stopped being sent, the
screen will go black and my monitor (using
a vga monitor) will just go to sleep. any
help would be great.
3) Ace Midi
i absolutely love this program and all
the great sounds i've gotten out of it so
far ... however i have one problem with it.
the gui looks very screwed up! basically
most everything in the gui except for knobs
and buttons is an orangish-yellow color.
anyone else experience anything similar?
and thomas, if you're reading this, i guess
you can consider this an unofficial bug
report ;]
