Author: 0 (0) Date: -0 Hi can anyone help me i have an Atari 850 interface which i am dying to use on my 130XE to browse the net using contiki which i have downloaded and transferred using the APE cable :) I have a nice little pocket pc pace modem which i would like to use on the 850 interface but i have been told that you need a special kind of serial cable for the 850 interface because the pin outs on the 850 serial sockets are slightly different to the pc's serial socket??????? I would like to know were i can get a cable modified by someone with the know how?? Also will i need a gender changer for the 850 to accomadate the modified pc serial plug end of the cable? I have a 9 pin to pin serial cable for the pace modem which i have used on a pc but the end that would normally goto the pc's serial is a different gender to that of the 850??? I would be glad to send the cable i have for someone to modify to the 850. Cheers Paul :) An Atari.org newbie :)
