Hi! I have a question for those who have played Atari 8-bit games on both an Atari
computer (400/800/XL/XE) and on an Atari
emulator (PC - Windows):
(1) What are the pros and cons on using
either platform? I would greatly
appreciate a thoughtful and detailed
discussion on the above.
The former is an expensive hobby (b/c of
buying all the old games) and the latter
is inexpensive (just download the emulator
and the games from the Internet).
I was told that the emulator versions come
very close to the original gameplay but it just doesn't feel totally right as if the emulation did not contain all the original programming quirks et al.
