I have a 1040ST in my closet and it has been there for 6 years. My disk drive is gone but I still have some programs and files that I would love to check out once again. Can anyone give some advise as to what is the best way to go about doing this. Would I be better off buying an emmulator and just taking my chances and buying a disk drive and hope the whole system still works. And, how close to the original does an emmulator on todays PC's get to how your programs worked on the ATARI?
