Today, I got my Atari Jaguar. Problem is, the included Jaguar RF box doesn't work (produces static). Instead, I decided to try a few other RF boxes I have lying around my house. NES RF boxes work similarly to my offical box; however a third-party RF box does produce output, but the image is ruined by thick gradiant horizontal bars which move up the screen.
I have 2 theories on the subject: 1)Atari method to prevent users from using un-offical RF boxes; 2)Some type of vertical-hold failure. What should I do?
