i dunno much about this, but my guess is: the sdma looplength or startaddress must be aligned for the 8 mono tracks..

and yes, it's a bit of a shame that there is little knowledge about this. dsp coding is one thing, but knowing full ins-outs of ssi is even more specialistic.

maybe deun, nocrew guys or thomas/nb know more?
please help guys! :)
