Thanks for the help. Your code looks very complicated though and I am not sure of where I should be looking exactly as you have alot of code libraries.

What I am looking for is an ANSI C command that can convert a string into a floating-point value. I have found a command in the MATH.H header file that can convert a floating-point value to a string, but I cannot find anything (so far) that can do it in reverse taking a string from a dialog.

Can you point me in the right direction?
