Hey Darren,

glad you find this site ok,

i think some MSTES were factory fitted with 200Mb drives

I originally bought an IBM 1Gb drive which my MSTE wouldnt recognise, I got a Seagate 1.2 Hawk drive working after a lot of fiddling around. I was limited to 500Mb partitions though.


I would say a Seagate, Quantum, WD and Conner drives work the best on Ataris, and I would avoid IBM drives. and yes make sure the drive has a parity jumper that can disabled.
