Hi,

this is off. IIRC, TOS Error #35 means "too many files open" and usually appears when you try to execute a non-executable file.
That shouldn't actually have to do with your genmouse driver.
Have you tried using Cubase with the standard mouse and booting the machine cleanly ?

Also, you might consider buying a serial mouse adapter from Mario Becroft. This allows you to connect a serial mouse to the standard mouse port and therefore doesn't require any driver software.
It's inexpensive, doesn't harm the ST/Falcon joystick port and works 100%.
