20 megs of ram are the "requirement for
current version".
A workunit mostly comes at aprox 360kb.
The result file sent back to seti@home
is about 60kb. I do not have the
seti@home client source code, but I suppose
it could be ported in a way that
ATARIs are able to handle these amounts
of data. Include FPU support for
Mega STEs and TTs and DSP support for
the Falcon and you may even get reasonable
completion times.
