Well, in case you have a Lexmark bubble jet printer you're out of luck - Lexmark bubble jet printers require Windows Print (at least they did until now).

As far as USB goes - It'll not be easy to give an Atari a USB-port and that would still require driver software to be written.
Besides that, people mostly stopped investing money in Atari hardware add-ons which doesn't make developing them easier or cheaper.
