I can not remeber what company it is (it will come to me soon) but they are soon to release a TOS based machine which will use dual 68060.

Milan uses a version of TOS which is 100% assembly, this means that the whole multitasking OS fits into 256K of ROM (or somthing small like that). These is really thin software compared to todays 200+ MB Win OS.

There is also talk of the Milan II being able to use the Cold Start chips from Motorola, these are 68060 compatable but run up to 400Mhz. These would be more stable then Gemulator too.

You will also find that the people that will be programming them will be used to slow machines, ie they will be used to tight code.
