What version are you using?

Under the dialog in 'properties' have you got the box ticked for 'accessing windows files'? Then under 'disk properties' have you got ST internal floppy mapped to drive A:?

Try it again with these settings and let me know what happens.

By the way I am using version 8.03 of Gemulator & I have noticed that the option for the Blitter has gone now. Do you know if Emulators Inc. have discontinued blitter support? I would ask them myself except my emails are being rejected for some reason...
