I don't know about the Motorola modem. But if it connects via ethernet and you don't need dhcp, it should work, yes.

Unexpanded Falcon = 14MB 16MHz.
A FastRam expanded Falcon (or TT) is a must for MiNT. It makes everything take off.
Examples of cards for the Falcon are Centurbo 2, Afterburner 040, Mighty Sonic and the forthcoming CT60 (www.czuba-tech.com).


To your numbered questions:

1. Depends what ST titles. GEM programs; very good. Games; poor (can be enhanced with a program called backward). Demos; very poor.

2. You should be using NVDI for a big speedup and additional features (scaleable fonts, printer drivers). Here's a list of the printers it supports: http://www.nvdi.de/NVDI5.html

3. The VGA screen will work fine. But old demos will want an rgb screen or tv.
