I suggest you use the other one, now: aradisk.zip. This disk has fVDI enabled (much faster) and better icons ;-)
As for the format of these disks, they are simple byte copies of original disks (hence their names: disk images). Under Linux, they can be mounted just like any other (real) hard drive. In this regard, they can be said to be in the .ST format (but NOT in the .MSA format).
