The answer might come from GemX11, the X11 server for Gem, which is only available for M68030 and up processors (falcon, Milan...)
With this, you can compile most free software for X11, such as Mozilla, for Gem. (Note: Mozilla is the basement for Netscape 6.1, ie: Netscape6=Mozilla+AOL), or alternatively, you can display an Unix application on your Atari desktop, if you're on a local network.
You might also be interested in the ARAnyM project, which aims to give TOS it's ultimate chance, by allowing Atari software to run on modern PC hardware. Eventually, they intend to provide a bootable install CD which will install a Falcon030+AfterBurner040 on your PC hardware. For now, the project is still young. But you can already see interesting results by testing it as an application under Linux (primarily) or Windows (if you know what you're doing).
