Well...
I'm not connected in any way (except the mailing list ;-) to the development team of ARAnyM. Thus, I'm not an expert at those things.
My guess would be that:
- if the message you give is displayed on the "Atari screen", then it could be a problem with the boot software or even the TOS you're using;
- if the message you give is displayed on the Linux console, then there is probably either a problem with your version of TOS, or a problem that went unnoticed during compilation.
But I can't be sure. I suggest you go and see to http://aranym.atari.org if there is anything that might help you. And I think you really should post your questions to the ARAnyM mailing list. They're much more qualified than me for your problems.
