Hi,
So Aranym is 96 times faster than a Falcon?
That's less than I have expected (besides, on which x86?).
Let's say it's 100 times faster:
A Falcon does 3.5 MIPS. That would be 350 MIPS for Aranym.
That's about the niveau of the CF4e - without DSP!
And I guess a native Atari will keep many bonuspoints: eg.fast booting.
What we must not forget is that a computer has more qualities than just speed.
This is often being forgot these days, thanks to Intel and AMD.
But I think Aranym is very interesting for portable solutions as long as there is no modern Atari-laptop...
